Eat Food.



It is easier said than done. Did you know that seventeen thousand new products show up in the supermarket each year? All doing the very best they can to grab our attention. In many grocery stores you will find up to 40,000 items to choose from. Its confusing!! (with much of the same ingredients just different shapes and flavorings) According to Michael Pollan and I :o) Most of those items don't even deserve to be called food. I like what Michael Pollan calls it.... "food like substances". Can you guess what the main ingredients are? I bet you can. Corn and Soy. Enjoy this simple REAL FOOD recipe!!
Take a piece of whole grain toast and throw it in the toaster. While that's toasting, mash an avocado. Spread it on the toast and add a little salt and pepper! (pepper flakes if you'd like!) Even a splash of lime is yummy! I almost forgot..... drizzle a bit of olive oil on it. If you love garlic, then mix that in with the avocado......endless possibilities!
