Don't eat breakfast cereals that change the color of the milk.

This should go without saying. Such cereals are highly processed and full of refined carbohydrates as well as chemical additives...... Michael Pollan.

I went to see Michael Pollan in Milwaukee last night. His message is so simple.
eat food. not too much. mostly plants.

This seems so easy. However, we live in a world where convenience has priority over a home cooked meal. I really feel sitting down to a home cooked meal is one of the most important things we do. It creates conversation, creation, gifting and sharing. If you don't do it at all, try it 1 time a week. Work up to every day.... at least once.

Here is an amazing dish that Chris DeSantis shared with me. He does some fun Italian Stallion cooking classes!

Chicken Saltimbocca
3 chicken breasts cut in half (to make them thinner) be sure to get free range chickens
Fresh sage leaves
Brochuto
flour
butter.
Take the chicken and put the sage leaves on the breast followed by the Brochuto. Put it in flour and then in a pan that has melted butter in it. Pan fry. Put the Brochuto side down first. It is so easy and if you eat meat on occasion, this is a good one to try!

  2. Thanks!!
Also, here is what Chris DeSantis had to add!
I wanted to thank you for promoting my philosophy a cucinare buono e mangiare bene - cook good and eat well. And yes, it's prosciutto.
For the recipe I add at the end a 1/2 cup of dry white wine, a Tbs of unsalted butter and a Tbs of chopped fresh Italian parsley.
And the Italian Stallion thing is probably a bit of an exaggeration :-)
    Ciao,
